A 45 year old man who hails from Nyangoso, Kisii County was on Thursday arraigned at Kisii Law court and charged for defiling his 15 year old daughter severally.
Appearing before Senior Resident Magistrate (SRM), Charles Muraguri the accused Boniface Matoke denied the incest charges and was released on a cash bond of Sh 500, 000 or a surety of the same amount.
According to the prosecutor, on the 20th of December last year, Matoke defiled her daughter at their house in Nyangoso.
The prosecutor further said that the daughter revealed to police officers that it was not the first time her father was defiling her.
The Court was also told that the accused was left at home with his daughter when he committed the crime.
When the mother came back home she realised that all was not well forcing her to question the daughter who revealed to her what has happened.
Matoke denied the charges and urged the Court to release him as the investigations went on.
The hearing of the case was slated for March 13.
