One person has been charged in Kithimani law court for flouting traffic laws along Kithimani-Matuu road in Yatta sub-county in Machakos county. 

Appearing before principal magistrate Davis Karani, Mukavi was accused of using an unroadworthy vehicle on the road and also carrying both passengers and goods in the same vehicle. 

The accused accepted the charges and he is being detained in Kithimani police station whereby he is expected to pay cash bail of Sh16,000 for the two mistakes within two days for him to be released. 

The principal magistrate Davis Karani urged drivers to always adhere to traffic laws in order to avoid being arrested.
