A man was charged before an Eldoret court with vandalizing and stealing Kenya power property valued at Sh3 million.

The accused Noah Kimutai denied vandalizing a transformer worth Sh2 million and stealing copper wires and 400 liters of transformer oil valued at Sh1 million.

The court heard that the accused committed the offence on October 11 at Baraka village in Uasin Gishu county.

The court released the accused on a Sh500,000 bond until November 2  when the case will be mentioned.
