A man committed suicide on Sunday in unclear circumstances in Kinamba, Nakuru county.
The man's body was found hanging from a tree, hours after he went missing.
Naivasha deputy county commissioner Isaac Masinde confirmed the incident and said his relatives reported to the police that they were not aware of his whereabouts.
"The family reported his missing after a disagreement with family members. After a search that lasted for about four hours, his body was found hanging few kilometres from their homestead," said Masinde.
He urged members of the public not to take bad decision whenever a disagreement comes by.
"We should involve church elders to solve disagreements in society because committing suicide is not the lasting solution," he added
Masinde said police have launched investigations to determine what led the man to commit suicide.
