A 66-year old man has been found hanging from the roof of his house today May 2, in the morning.
The incident occurred in Matithini sub-location in Musingini, Masinga sub-county.
Confirming the incident, Matithini sub-location subchief Peter Munyasya said that the deceased was living alone in his house after his wife died a long time ago.
He said that one of the deceased relatives went to talk to him after which he realised that something was amiss and broke into his house where he found him dead and took immediate action to report the matter.
"I received information on what had from one of the relatives whereby accompanied by police officers we arrived at the scene. The man was hanging from the roof of his house when we arrived," said Munyasya.
The deceased body was taken to Matuu median hospital mortuary as investigations are launched as to what exactly might have caused his death.
