He goes by the name Harun Mubichi Kirimi as registered in Mpesa with phone number 0703421623, one of the gambling conmen who are going against the Cyber Crime law by phishing and photoshopping the SportPesa website to make it as if they have won handsomely. The main aim of photoshopping is to convince people they intend to steal from.
Known as Harun Bets on Facebook, Kirimi always demand for 7700 shilling before giving you the wrong bets claiming that you win add him 12300 shilling just to convince you that the odds are sure bets.
On the recent scamming that led to his exposure, Kirimi had asked a University student to pay him a discounted price of 6300 because he was a new customer.
He later gave the poor boy, who apparently had used his rental money and part of the fees, fake odds that miserably lose. He gives the fake bets to buy time to prevent you from reversing the amount you sent him.
When the boy confronted him on Whatsapp, he told him not to worry adding that he has an insider working with SportPesa who always manipulate the bets from their customer to match the wrong bets.
“Hi just explained on what happens behind the scenes, I work with a guy who works with SportPesa. Winning possible if a deal with him. He will manipulate the system so that Bet goes through, very simple,” said the con.
This is contrary to what he said before the boy lost the odds; he said that the odds are directly formed the clubs.

According to a call made to Safaricom customer care in attempt to reverse, the conman had no balance in his account. You are therefore asked to treat such scams with the worst ignorance and contempt it deserves.
