A 22-years-old man allegedly cut off his lover's ear and two fingers after she allegedly refused to continue being his girlfriend in Mukusu village in Masinga sub-county.
Confirming the incident on Tuesday, Mukusu chief Shadrack Maingi said the young girl had injuries on her head and hands.
"The boy is 22 years and the couple were on their way from Mukusu market when the girl returned the photographs the two had exchanged after which the boy cut her with a sharp object,"said Maingi.
According to the administrator, the girl is nursing serious injuries on two fingers, head and her ear and was taken to Mukusu Dispensary.
The man was arrested after presenting himself to Masinga Dam police station. He will be arraigned in court after investigations.
