An Eldoret Court has released on bond a middle-aged man accused of defiling a two-year-old child.
The suspect was on Monday arraigned before Eldoret Chief magistrate Charles Obulutsa accused of defiling the minor on November 6, 2007, at Jua Kali area within Eldoret West in Uasin Gishu county.
He is also facing charges of indecently touching the minor's private parts.
The prosecution told the court that the suspect committed the crime when the minor was playing outside their house.
He pleaded not guilty to all the charges and was released on a sh100,000 bond with a surety of similar amount.Hearing for the case was set for November 20, 2017.
