A man has been charged before a Milimani court for sexually assaulting a female police officer on Saturday last week along Duruma Road in Nairobi.
David Munene Kathurima was charged with indecent act by intentionally touching the behind of a policewoman with his penis against her will on Saturday 10th September 2016 contrary to section 11 of the Sexual Offenses Act number 3 of 2006.
Kathurima was also charged with another count of resisting arrest from two police officers on the same day.
The charge sheet indicated that he willfully resisted execution of police duties contrary to section 103 (a) of the National Police Service Act 11A of 2011.
He was released on a cash bail of Sh30 000 and a bond of Sh100 000.
The case will be heard on October 4, 2016.
