A man was on Tuesday arraigned before a Maralal court and charged with stealing sheep at Naibor Keju in Samburu West.

The suspect identified as Kudai Lenakiti was arrested on Monday by Nyumba Kumi officials at Ng’ari hills.

The officials were acting on a tip off from locals.

Lenakiti denied the two charges of stealing livestock and being in possession of stolen property before the court claiming that he was being fixed by enemies.

He was released on a Sh50,00 bond.
