Police have found the body of a man inside a Nakuru County lodging on Thursday morning.

The man is said to have died from excessive drinking of second generation alcohol on Tuesday night.

"The man known as Kibet is said to have taken excess alcohol on Tuesday night and spent the whole day a sleep on Wednesday," police said.

Residents in the area said that Kibet had always been a drunk and had even been warned by his parents against the behaviour.

The mother of the deceased fell unconscious after hearing news of her sons’ demise.
