The body of a 35-year-old man was this morning found lying at the Bondo Central Business District within Bondo Sub County.
The deceased, Samson Owino, is said to have gone drinking with his friends at a nearby joint where they are allegedly consumed an illicit brew known as 'Ruataruata'.
Confirming the incident, chairman of the Bondo community policing Juma Abuko who was among those who visited the scene said that it is suspected he left the drinking joint alone when he fell at a nearby shoe shining shed where he was found dead this morning.
Bondo OCPD Paul Kiarie who confirmed the incident said that the deceased had no physical injuries but a bottle of alcohol was found next to his body.
The OCPD urged the public members to exercise caution furring this festive season to avoid avoidable deaths.
“People should drink responsibly even though everyone is merry making," he said.
The body was taken to Bondo Sub County morgue awaiting a post-mortem examination.
