A middle-aged man died Friday morning in Nakuru town after he fell from the fourth floor of a building.
The deceased was among workers at the construction site.
Kevin Kimani, a worker at the site, said the deceased was trying to pull a pipe of water from one side of the building when he slipped and fell to the ground.
"Huyu jamaa tumework naye tangu tuingie kazi tu asuhuhi, then tulikuwa tunakoroga hi cement but pipe ya maji haikuwa ikifika akaenda kuvuta (We have been with the deceased till morning when we reported, he was trying to pull a piper of water when he fell)," Kimani said
When reached on phone, the owner of the building said he had been shocked by the turn of events.
He promised to work closely and offer any assistance needed by the family of the deceased.
The body has since been moved to Rift Valley General Hospital mortuary.
