A man in his mid 30's has been ejected from a rented house in Machakos County.
James Wambua was thrown out by his landlord in Kyondoni for being naughty, rude and disorderly on Saturday.
Residents said Wambua is a drunkard who battered his wife on daily basis thereby causing disturbance to other tenants in their residences.
"He comes to his house late in the night on daily basis and makes noise making neighbors stay awake, he had become nuisance," a resident who sought anonymity for fear of victimization said.
The source said other residents had severally reported the matter to their landlord.
He said Wambua had promised to stop the habit after he was summoned by the landlord but failed to honor his promise.
The landlord issued him with an eviction notice on Friday evening.
He placed the notice on Wambua's door for easy visibility.
Wambua was forcibly evicted by the landlord with support from agitated residents after he refused to vacate the premises.
"I will not move from this house whether you like it or not. You don't pay for me the rent, I am the one who pays," Wambua protested.
The landlord gave him an hour to remove his households from the house but he defied.
The landlord then ordered the residents to storm the house and throw Wambua's belonging out.
Wambua was thrown out and another tenant given the same house.
