A Vicar. [Photo/ucatholic.com]A middle-aged man from Nyansakia Tendere Kisii County escaped death after angry church members attacked him on claims that he made divisive and demeaning remarks to church clerics who were graduating.

The man went to a Bible training center situated in Kemboa near Ogembo Tendere where 20 pastors were graduating. 

The suspect is said to have hidden in the nearby maize plantation from where he was throwing abusive words to the pastors saying they were doing silly things that won’t help change the society. 

Angry church members who were present were angered and started throwing stones and crude weapons at the man and injured him. 

He fled the scene in fear of his safety and found refuge at a nearby home.
