Police in Matuu have launched investigations on the cause of death of a man who was found dead in a lodging in Matuu town on March 31, 2016.
According to Yatta OCPD Edward Kipsang the body of 58-year old Ndolo Musau was discovered by lodging attendant in the morning.
He said that the attendant was supplying water to customers in different rooms where they found the half-naked body of the deceased on the bed, where she immediately reported the case to the lodgings owner who notified him.
"I received information that certain man had been found dead in a lodging where we rushed to the scene immedietely. We identified the man as Ndolo Musau, from Ikombe within Yatta sub-county.
"The body did not have visible injuries nor signs of struggle," said Kipsang.
The body was taken to Matuu median hospital mortuary for postmortem.
