32-year old man has been confirmed dead after he was found hanging from the roof of his house in Kyang'ombe village, Kaliluni sub-location, Kathiani sub-county.

According to Kaliluni acting chief Benard Mutua Muasya who confirmed the incident, the man's body was found by his brother on May 31 in the afternoon. 

According to Chief Muasya, the family members said they were not aware of any issue that could have led to the suicide a situation which left family members agonized. 

"The deceased has not had problems before which might have caused his death," said Muasya. 

Muasya decried increased suicide deaths in the area. 

The body of the deceased was taken to Machakos level five hospital mortuary by Iveti location administration police officers.
