A middle-aged man was found dead outside his house on Saturday morning in Mitumba Market, Machakos town.
According to Machakos township senior chief Joshua Kimeu who confirmed the incident on Saturday morning, the man works as a bodaboda operator.
He added that the victims perpetrators could be some men he had been seen arguing with about a debt.
Chief Kimeu observed that the man's body had no injuries where it's suspected he could have been strangled.
A vehicle engine was found placed on top of his body. The body of the man was taken to Machakos level five hospital mortuary for postmortem.
This incident comes a day after police arrested one suspect who is suspected to be terrorizing Machakos town.
Speaking to the press on Friday Machakos, DCIO Henry Ndombi said that the suspect was arrested with police uniforms and cigarettes.
This is after some watchmen had reported that most of the attackers who attack them are dressed in police uniforms.
The officer also promised residents that the police will do all they can to avert crime in the area.
