A 30-year-old man was on Tuesday night killed at Tangi Tano village, Naivasha, after being found in bed with his neighbour's wife.

Confirming the incident, Naivasha Sub-County Deputy Commissioner Joseph Opondo, said the neighbour hacked the man to death using a machete.

Opondo said the suspect, who surrendered to police shortly after the incident, confessed of having set a trap after he found out his wife was cheating on him.

Willis Ng'etich, a neighbour, said the victim took advantage of the fact that the suspect had several wives and would visit them on different dates of the month, the Standard reports.

The suspect's wife was also taken into custody.
