The body of a 22-year-old young man was on Monday found hanging from one church in Kambi Ya Ndege area Yatta sub-county.

Confirming the incident, Kambi Ya Ndege sub chief Francis Mutua said that residents reported the incident to the police after discovering the body.

The young man reportedly hails from Mavingau in Yatta sub-county as the reason behind his suicide remains a mystery.

"The young man is not from this area, he comes from Mavingau," said Mutua.

He went ahead to advise the youth to be seeking professional help when they are troubled and desist from suicidal thoughts.

The body of the man was taken to Matuu mediance mortuary for postmortem as investigations commence.
