A man in Sinoko village in Kimaeti, Bumula Sub-County has been in police custody since Thursday, October 6 for allegedly sodomising an epileptic boy.

The man is accused of luring the 11-year-old-boy into his house by promising to buy him drugs before he did the heinous act.

According to area Chief Joseph Khaemba, the suspect threatened to kill the boy if he dared disclose anything to anyone.

However, the boy went ahead and told his grandmother that he had been healed after the act with the man.

"I thought that he was a Good Samaritan out to assist me get drugs that can heal my condition but I was shocked when he started to spread a mattress in the sitting room and asked me to undress and sleep on it. Then, he made me his wife," said the boy.

It's then that the boy's grandmother Jane Naliaka reported the matter to Nyumba Kumi officials who informed the police.

The boy is at Bungoma County Referral Hospital undergoing examination.

It is alleged that the suspect had tried to sodomise his own father before but the father overpowered him.
