A 35 year-old man has been arrested and held for interrogation at Subukia police station for sodomising his 32 year-old friend in Simboywa village.
Area police boss Alex Ng’ang’a said the suspect, had visited his friend in his rental house where they took drinks together and went to sleep.
The police said that while asleep, the suspect took advantage of his friend’s drunken status to indulge in the indecent act.
He said the suspect immediately escaped from the house leaving the victim discharging blood from his private parts.
“Members of the public responded to the victim’s distress call in the rental house and took him to Subukia sub-district hospital where he was treated and discharged. We quickly launched investigations into the incident and apprehended the suspect who is held,” said the police boss.
The police boss asked members of the public to desist from such unnatural acts noting that it was against the law.
