A man was on Tuesday afternoon given a thorough beating for questioning why his mother opted to sell the only cow the family owned.

Mr Kimosi Osoro, said that his mother and sisters attacked him in his Mosbeti home, Nyamira County and later rushed him to hospital.

"I questioned my mother why she colluded with my sisters and uncles to sell the cow and they immediately started attacking me with crude weapons. They beat me up and then took me to Gucha hospital," he said.

Mr Osoro said that he was planning to go to court and seek justice immediately he is released from the hospital.

"Once I leave the hospital I will report the matter so that action is taken against those who attacked me," he said.
