A man was on Monday arrested for impersonating Deputy President WilliamRuto's sister, Susan Samoei.
The suspect was identified as one Geoffrey Kiplangat and was accused of using Susan's name to obtain Sh89,000.
Mr Kiplangat who was arrested in Eldoret town was later tranffered to Nairobi for questioning.

Kiplangat was held at the Central police station and is expected to face charges of obtaining money through false pretense.
Recently cases of civilians using influential people to obtain money illegally have been on the rise.
Recently, former Gem Member of Parliament Jakoyo Midiwo was defrauded by two Multimedia University Students who posed as Murang'a Women Representative Sabina Chege.
The two, Derrick Kemutai Ng’etich and Edwin Nderitu Warukira allegedly carried on conversations with Mr Midiwo via text message convincing him that they were Mrs Chege.
It emerged that Midiwo send the money to the two after they claimed that the Kenya Revenue Authority had frozen Chege's bank accounts.
