A man is in police custody after he allegedly impregnanted his daughter who is a secondary school student.
The girl is said to have been in a relationship with her father behind her mother's back.
Differences rose when the girl told her father that she suspected she was pregnant and the man asked her to abort it.
Locals opted to report the matter to the police after they realised that the girl's mother was shielding her husband.
Her principal Dan Omambia said that the girl revealed the matter to her teacher who in turn tried to call her parents to the school but in vain.
"We tried to call her parents to school but they never came. That forced me to report the matter to the area chief," he said.
Reports indicate that it was not the first time the underage was getting pregnant and invinvestigations had kicked off into the matter.
