A middle aged man was on Tuesday arraigned in a Kisii Law courts for sending an abusive text messages to his ex-girlfriend.
Eric Nyangwara denied the charges when he appeared before Kisii Resident Magistrate Dennis Ombongi.
According to the charge shit Nyangwara sent the abusive text to Edna Kombo, his former girl friend, using his safaricom line.
The court heard that the accused had been married to the complainant with whom they had one child before separating a few weeks ago.
After receiving the text message Kombo reported the matter at Kerina Police Post, where the officers attached to the station arrested Nyangwara.
Nyangwara was released on a Sh30,000 bond and a surety of a similar amount or a cash bail of Sh5,000.
The hearing is on June 8 with a mention on April 2 this year.
