A 43-year-old man was on Friday arraigned in a Nakuru court for defiling a fourteen 14-year-old girl at Pipeline estate, Nakuru.
Phillip Inziria was charged of committing the heinous act on a diverse date in December 2015 and July 6 2016 at the Pipeline IDP Camp.
The class six pupil at Aberdares primary went missing on July 7 only to come home few hours later.
When asked where she had been, she said she was in the camp of the accused where she was given thirty (30) shillings to keep silent.
She broke the news to her mother after much interrogation and said that it was not the first time for the accused to commit the crime to her. She said that on December, a day she could not remember the accused committed the act and asked her to keep it a secret.
Inziria appeared before Senior Resident Magistrate Josphat Kalo where he denied committing the crime.
The case was slated for July 14 where the hearing date will be issued. Inziria was granted a Ksh 100 000 bond and a surety of similar amount or a cash bail of Ksh 60 000.
