A 25-year-old man is being held at the Kithimani police station for allegedly destroying property at their home in Yatta sub-county Machakos County.

Kithimani OCS James Wairagu said the man was arrested on Friday night after he broke glass windows at his mother's house and also those of her servant. 

He said the suspect also broke his mother's door. 

The officer also disclosed that the suspect also had threatened to exhume his father's body before the police intervened. 

OCS Wairagu said the suspect will help the police in the investigation as he awaits to appear in court on Monday where he will face charges of malicious destruction of property.
