A middle aged man from Gesiaga village in Bosamaro area is currently being held at Nyamira police station after he was allegedly caught in the act with a hen on Wednesday evening.
According to the area Chief Moses Nyabaro, he was arrested by the police and rushed to Nyamira police station to answer the charges over the allegations.
“I can confirm that the man is currently being held at the police station and the owner of the hen and few witnesses have already been summoned to go and write a statement,” he said.
The man identified as Denis Morumbwa was allegedly caught with the hen in his neighborhood and after the owner of the hen had some noise from the chicken pen.
The owner of the hen identified as Irene Gesuge said that she was in her house after she had some noise and when she got out to check she found the man in the abnormal act and that’s when she immediately screamed and the villagers arrived.
“The angry mob started beating him and after few minutes the area chief arrived and controlled them after which he arrested the man with the help of the police,” she added.
The chief condemned the act and said that such people will be arrested and face the charges immediately once proven guilty.
