Richard Aketch was put behind bars on Tuesday after being arraigned in court.

The Eldoret-based businessman has strongly rejected claims that he sent messages of a threatening nature to Tuju on February 2.

Aketch is said to have been exchanged strong words with Raphael Tuju before sending the threatening missive that landed him in trouble.

Tuju was named CS nominee without portfolio by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
