One Jubilee supporter made headlines on Friday, after he displayed his donkey painted in Jubilee colours as he attempted to campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Biran Murithi who previously lost in the Timau MCA race during the August 8 poll, kicked off the campaign in the Buuri constituency and will continue to take his campaigns ahead of October 26.

Murithi, who contested as an independent candidate, stated that he joined the ruling party in 2014.

"Today, I campaigned in North Imenti constituency. My next stop will be Central Imenti and South Imenti."

According to Murithi, he has plans to take his campaigns to Tharaka Nithi county using the Jubilee painted donkey named 'Karembo'.

"I am urging the people not to vote for Raila. He says he is taking people to Caanan but let him know that River Jordan is flooded," he added.

He claims the donkey symbolizes loyalty and it also carries heavy material without attacking its owner.

"Just like Uhuru, despite all the abuse he takes from the opposition, he does not revenge. He is facing a huge task he is under a lot of pressure from the opposition and I am urging Kenyans to elect him," Murithi said.
