Residents of Biafra Estate in Thika town were this morning shocked when they found a dead man’s body lying outside the door of a rental house in one of the plots.
Naftali Maina 28, reported the incident at Thika police station after arriving at his house from a night shift job only to find a converged crowd at his house’s door.
Maina now fears for his life after the incident claiming it might have been a warning by the killers that he may be the next target.
“Am now living in fear as they chose to dump the body only to my house, it might be a warning sounded to me that am the next victim,” He said.
Confirming the incident, Chief Inspector Richard Sang, said the body had no visible injuries and the man might have been killed somewhere else and dumped at the scene.
“The body is clear with no injuries that could ascertain us for his death and we suspect he was killed somewhere else and dumped here by the killers,” Inspector Sang said.
He urged any resident with any information about the incident to report to any of the Thika police station officers and also insisted on the Nyumba Kumi initiative.
The police officers arrived at the scene immediately and retrieved the body which was taken to Thika Level Five hospital morgue.
