[Photo/Dennis Chacha]Residents of Nyabisimba sub-location West Mugirango Nyamira County were left in rude shock after a son and his father disagreed and the father decided to destroy his son’s house.
Stella Mwabora, a resident said the two were heard quarrying on Wednesday on grounds that Mogire the son did not consult the father before he builds his house.
“The father removed doors and windows before he destroyed the whole house leaving his son homeless,” said Mrs. Mwabora.
She added that disagreement between the two came when the son asked his father allocate him a piece of land where he can grow crops to sustain him and his family.
“Mogire had asked his father to show him where he could grow crops but this angered the father to destroy the house saying why should he ask for a piece of land yet when he was constructing his house, he didn’t involve him in the plans,” she added.
Mogire said his father is not happy after he married from a family that his father didn’t want.
He noted that he will move to court to have his father compelled to build a new house.
