A man in his mid 50's has left many surprised after he threw a 'bash' for his dogs at Githunguini in Machakos County on Saturday.
The widower, a father of one daughter, married away from home prepared 'special delicacy' to his three dogs after receiving payments of coffee bonus.
The only creatures close to him are the dogs said to be so harsh that nobody can access his home when he is away.
He decided to get to a club and have a good time after receiving his coffee bonus payments on Thursday.
The man passed by a butchery and bought five kilograms of meat with lots of soup on his way home, this surprised the butcher.
The butcher asked the man why he had bought such amount of meat, only to be shocked with the answer.
"It seems you have a party today, can't you invite me?" the butcher told the man jockingly.
"Yes, I have a party with my dogs. They give me enough protection and I have never appreciated them," the man said.
The man walked home, cooked the meat and left the dogs to enjoy.
