A middle-aged man from Bogitaa village in Bonchari constituency Kisii County shocked locals after he sold his piece of land and eloped with another man’s wife.
It is said that Elvis Otundo sold his land and fled with another man’s wife to an unknown place on Friday.
“It is bad that the wife fell into the tricks of the man who believes he is rich after he sold his land. They will enjoy the money but they will regret later once the money is finished,” said Hyline Mokomba, a resident.
The wife’s husband who declined to be named said he was at work when he was informed that his wife of 4 years had packed her belongings and fled from home.
“I am a boda boda rider and was shocked to be called by my mother only to be told that Otundo and my wife have packed her belongings and fled to an unknown destination. I married her with one child and we had sired one child together and I won’t go after her because she made her decision alone,” said the husband.
He said he will not accept the woman back or the children because she has brought shame to him and his family.
