A middle-aged man is nursing head injuries in Shalom hospital in Athi River after he was stabbed by his lover in Kosovo area in Mavoko, Machakos county.
This incident was confirmed by Mavoko location chief Nzau Komu who said that the man who works at a construction site lives with his lover in Kosovo who works in a club.
The man is said to have been rescued by good samaritans and rushed to hospital to get treatment.
The man sustained serious injuries as he was stabbed on the forehead and on the neck. The woman behind the attack was arrested and is held at Athi River police station as she awaits to appear in court after investigation.
"After information from the members of the public I myself took the initiative to arrest the woman where she is held at Athi River police station awaiting prosecution," said Komu.
