A man was confirmed dead today in the morning after being stabbed by armed robbers in Kangundo, Machakos county.
This happened along Kikomba Imilini road, Kangundo sub-county.
Kivani area chief confirmed that the crime was done last night. He went on to say that their effort to get an ambulance did not bear fruit, hence the man succumbed to injuries.
He went on to say that the deceased was stabbed severally and that he was bleeding profusely.
His body was taken to Kangundo mortuary, and the matter was reported to the police.
According to a local radio station, investigations are in progress and people were urged to remain calm.
This occurred following the murder of several other individuals, who were killed last week by armed robbers, in the same area. The former crime led to demonstration in Mitaboni last week.
Residents have been urged to report those who are suspected to have involved themselves in the crime.
