A man has gone into hiding after he allegedly stabbed his younger brother to death.
The incident happened on Friday in Bogusero ward, Kitutu Chache South Kisii County and locals say that the men had an argument.
Mr Alfred Osoro said that the suspect arrived in his home drank and differed with his brother.
"I heard the two exchangong bitterly before the late wailed in pain. I rushed to the scene only to find him lying in a pool of blood," he said.
Mr Osore said they are yet to find out why the two differed.
The suspect immediately went into hiding and police are looking for him.
Samuel Onyancha the area chief said that the deceased body was taken to the Kisii Teaching and Referral hospital mortuary.
“The victim was stabbed in the stomach. He died while he was being rushed to hospital,” said Onyancha.
The local administrator assured that the suspect is being traced and will be arrested to be arraigned in court to be charged over murder.
