Police in Kangundo sub-county are hunting for a middle-aged man who fled after stabbing his wife several times to death in Kwa Akamba village, Isinga location Kangundo sub-county in Machakos county.
According to Kangundo DCIO Wycliffe Sifuna is that the father of five had a misunderstanding with his wife before attacking her with a knife on Monday evening.
The man is said to have separated from his wife long ago and had come for a visit before the incident happened.
"The two have been living apart for long after their separation and the man has been helping raise the kids, apparently he had come to visit the kids before getting into a heated argument with his wife," said Sifuna.
The body of the slain woman was taken to Kangundo level four hospital mortuary for preservation as investigations by the police are underway.
