A man left mourners in shock as he hang on stands of a helicopter that had landed in Bungoma town to deliver former businessman Jacob Juma's body.

The helicopter had briefly landed at the Bungoma Posta grounds before it flew to the Bungoma Airstrip.

A resident who witnessed the incident told this writer the man held one of the chopper's stands as it took off.

The Bungoma Airstrip is approximately one kilometre away from the Posta grounds.

He is said to have sustained a forehead injury as the helicopter landed.

Jacob Juma will be buried on Saturday in Bungoma county.
