Presidential aspirant Nazlin Umar condemned Deputy president William Ruto, for allegedly failing to take up his responsibility as a father.
This is after Prisca Chemutai through her lawyer Gitobu Imanyara, sued Ruto for failing to honor paternal responsibilities.
Through her Facebook page, Umar questioned the DP's integrity and leadership, saying he defied Chapter Six of the Kenyan Constitution.
“This is a matter of national integrity and leadership qualities. This is what gets many leaders to resign,'' she said.
Umar asked Ruto to be a father, love his child and stop shaming the nation.
''If you can’t be a parent, you can’t and shouldn’t be a leader, even of a village,'' added the 2017 presidential hopeful.
Ruto however refuted claims that he was not taking care her daughter, Abby, but admitted having the child with another woman.
