A father accused of defiling his thirteen year old daughter yesterday denied the charges at a Nakuru court.
The alleged pedophile appeared before Chief Magistrate Samuel Mungai, charged with committing the incest on diverse dates between 2006 and 2013 in Njoro village.
The prosecution led by inspector Stephen Wambua told the court that the accused detained the minor in the house where he allegedly committed the offence.
The court further heard that the man took advantage of the absence of the mother to commit the crime.
The accused also faced additional charges of intentionally and unlawfully touching the teenager’s private parts. The court directed that the accused be remanded at Nakuru Central police station to allow for further investigations.
