Police have arrested a man in links to the recent killing of two police officers in Kiambu.
This is after the suspect walked into a Ngong church and confessed that he was part of those who carried out the killings.
The suspect has since been taken into custody and is being interrogated by police in Kiambu to ascertain his claims.
He walked into church on Tuesday and confessed to the pastor that he and three other accomplices were the ones who shot dead constables Paul Maina and Martin Irungu of Kibichoi Police Post, stealing a gun from one of them.
The pastor then called police to establish truth in his confession.
"The suspect has confessed many issues and he claims he was among those who killed the two officers in Kibichoi. He claims he has been on the run over fears he would be killed," said Ngong police boss George Seda.
