Photo/JoshuaK/Hivisasa.com] Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago hosted friends, well wishers and supporters to a Sh10,000 per plate dinner at the Eldoret's Gulab Lochab grounds.The dinner that was meant to raise funds for the governor's re-election bid saw Sh28 million collected, Tuesday night.Speaking during the event, Mandago reaffirmed his commitment to steering Uasin Gishu county to greater heights.He urged locals to support his re-election bid to continue with the development projects he initiated since he ascended power in 2013."There is so much we have done for the past four years ranging from infrastructure improvement, agriculture as well as education and I ask the electorate to give me another term so that I can continue with the development," Mandago said.The dinner was attended by Elgeyo Marakwet governor Alex Tolgos, Uasin Gishu Women Representative aspirant Gladys Boss Shollei, defunct Wareng' County Council chairman Paul Kiprop, renown athletes led by Moses Tanui, business persons as well as successful farmers.
