Governor Jackson Mandago has said that he has almost completed all the pledges he made to the people of Uasin Gishu during his campaigns for the 2013 general elections.He said more than 65 per cent of the pledges had been completed."I have transformed infrastructure where every road even in the remotest area of this county is now passable. Several major bridges have also been constructed opening access and improving security," Mandago said, Saturday, during the 37th Noble Sacco Annual delegates meeting."I have also constructed 580 ECDE and employed 1000 teachers as well as sponsoring 1,800 youths to undertake certificate and Diploma courses at the Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (RVTTI)," he added.Mandago has been pegging his reelection bid on the achievement he has made since he was elected the first governor of Uasin Gishu in 2013.Under the slogan "Shujaa wa Maendeleo" the governor has been urging voters to give him a second term in office to enable him complete the projects he has initiated.He will be battling bussiness mogul Bundotich Kiprop alias Buzeki, Nandi County Health Chief Officer Dr Edward Serem and Felix Butit among others for the Jubilee party ticket.[Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago.
