Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago paid a courtesy call to the Israeli Ambassador to Kenya H.E Noah Gal Gendler on Tuesday.
The two leaders alongside other partners discussed on working towards establishing an industrial incubator park in Eldoret.
"The park will host 50 - 80 production units across all the sectors, providing between 30 to 50 direct jobs per unit and 2000 - 3000 indirect jobs within the first 2 years," Mandago said.
"This is meant to incubate and mentor local small and medium size enterprises, co- operatives and other small cottage industries by providing world class infrastructure, training and financing," Mandago added.
The county boss also revealed that during their meeting they explored a possibilities of linking ELDOWAS with leading Israeli water companies, and mobilizing resources to undertake projects to ensure that provision of clean and safe drinking water, and irrigation water to Uasin Gishu residents is done in the shortest time possible.
