Jubilee party nominees for various elective positions in Uasin Gishu have asked the electorate in the county to vote for Jubilee candidates in the August polls.Led by governor Jackson Mandago and Kesses MP nominee Dr. Swarupp Mishra, the leaders further urged their supporters to ensure  they come out in large numbers and vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.Speaking during a thanks giving tour of Kesses constituency on Wednesday, the two together with other Jubilee nominees reiterated the need for a six piece voting in the county that is considered a Jubilee stronghold."The importance of voting a six-piece style in the August elections is that there will be a smooth and cordial leadership in all levels; For a governor to serve well, he needs an MCA who does not oppose legislations on the basis of being member of an opposing party," Mandago told supporters at Lingway grounds in Kesses."We are in Jubilee and we should support candidates who won during the nominations so that they help in ensuring the next Jubilee administration succeeds in its development agenda for this nation," added Dr Mishra.Several Jubilee nominees in Uasin Gishu are facing a stiff competition from Independent candidates among them governor Mandago who is engaged in a fierce battle with billionaire businessman Zedekiah Bundotich (Buzeki) and Senate nominee Prof. Margret Kamar who will be battling former Radio Broadcaster Robert Arap Kemei.Women Representative Jubilee nominee Gladys Boss Shollei is also facing a stiff competition from another independent candidate Rael Chebichii.
