Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago has reiterated the need for North Rift Economic Bloc (NOREB) counties to foster trade relations.
Speaking on Thursday during the thanksgiving ceremony of Eng Nelson Maritim, the County Executive member for Lands and Housing, Mandago said NOREB counties should break their business boundaries for the establishment of a common union with favourable cross-boundary trade policies.
Eng Maritim hosted leaders, friends and his fellow locals, giving thanks to the governor after being promoted from a Chief Officer to a CeC member.
Nandi Deputy Governor Dr. Yulita Mitei also attended the function that was presided over by the Catholic church.All Uasin Gishu County CeCs, several Chief Officers and tens of County Staff attended the thanksgiving event.
