Uasin Gishu County governor Jackson Mandago has revealed why he is a no nonsense governor. He said he was elected to protect public property thus should be strict for work to be done orderly and on time. "I am hard on people because I like. Things done in a truth full and transparent manner. Those against it are the ones complaining. People want me to be soft for them to steak public property and I won't allow that," he said in Eldoret, Monday."I have a duty to protect government resources and I will continue being on their toes for proper service delivery to the electorates," he added. He however, warned corrupt civil servants that they risk being fired."I am sending a warning to corrupt official that their days are numbered. They either reform or resign.
