Turbo Parliamentary seat Jubilee nominee Kevin Okwara now claims he is the only candidate in Uasin Gishu with the interest of protecting Eldoret town.
Okwara has further told off governor Jackson Mandago and Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi who have been claiming that they are fighting to protect the town from being taken over by outsiders.
Speaking during the launch of Uasin Gishu Small Traders Sacco in Eldoret town, Thursday, Okwara said both Mandago and Sudi have no investments in Eldoret town hence cannot purport to be able to protect it.
"Show me a building you can say it belongs to Mandago or Sudi in this town. If there is none then if this town has problems they will not care," said Okwara.
"Some of us have invested heavily in this town and the last thing we want to see is anything that can be a threat to those investments," he added.
Okwara is an established entrepreneur owns the Noble Hotel and Alpax College all located within Eldoret town.
He is facing a stiff competition from an Independent Candidate Janet Rotich in the battle for the Turbo MP seat.
